Fábio Cembranelli, Brazilian, an architecture graduate from the São Paulo State University, had his first contacts with painting still during his university period. He started his career with watercolor on paper, from inputs acquired in the Visual Communication course and swiftly switched to research on other techniques, such as oil over canvas, acrylic, etc. At the university he took courses of Art History with Pietro Maria Bardi, visual programming with Claudio Tozzi, sculpture with Caciporé Torres, among others. He took drawing and photography courses at the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo (São Paulo State Art Gallery) and at the Lasar Segall Museum. From there on he turned himself into a self-taught artist. He took, during the 80 and 90 decades, a series of courses in Europe and United States, with some of the best known painters, such as the late Zivotas Petrovic, a master in floral motives watercolors. He participated of a series of salons in Brazil and abroad, having received various prizes. His work has been widespread and was distinguished in international private collections, in Belgium, Austria, Italy, Spain and United States among other countries.

Presently, he gives classes on watercolor and oil over canvas in his own studio, in art galleries, besides some workshops throughout the country and abroad.
