8. Condensing the background, I'm able to stress the yellow rose's luminosity. Then I introduce a little cobalt blue, which is a cold color, to contrast with the yellow of the rose.
     
9. It is important not to forget that the paper is damp, and it might be necessary some times to use a cloth or paper towel to remove the excess water.
 
     
 
10. I go back to the flowers, deepening the core of the roses with darker shades. For the yellow rose I'm using a little more of the orange red, always moving the brush, in case of the core, inside out.
     
11. I start to deepen the match of the different flowers, adding a little dark ultramarine blue and sepia. Please note that I changed the brush. Now I use a ½ inch flat brush.
 
     
 
12. With a mixture of sap green and a little leaf green, I give a few strokes on the boughs and leaves. I also add a little burnt Sienna to "burn" the green a little.
